How do I share my Membership benefits with a secondary Member? (Dual+)

Memberships at the Dual level and above are shareable between a named primary and secondary Member. Both primaries and secondaries: have access to all Membership benefits by logging in to TIFF Year-Round Account Manager; receive digital Membership cards; and are subscribed to Member-exclusive email communications.

To add or update your secondary cardholder, please email loyalty@tiff.net.

How do I access free TIFF Cinematheque tickets as part of my Membership Benefits?

Members may book two (2) complimentary tickets for in-person regular-price TIFF Cinematheque screenings in 2022. Tickets may be booked online through TIFF Year-Round Account Manager.

To book free TIFF Cinematheque tickets online through TIFF Year-Round Account Manager, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to TIFF Year-Round Account Manager using the email associated with your Membership.
  2. Select “Buy Tickets.”
  3. Find your desired film and click “Select.”
  4. Click on the interactive seat map and zoom in to see available seats.
  5. Select your seat and select the “TBLB Member CTQ” ticket type (CAD $0.00).
  6. Add your seats to your Cart.
  7. Proceed through checkout.

I can no longer attend my free TIFF Cinematheque screening. How can I return my tickets?

If you are unable to attend any of your free TIFF Cinematheque screenings, you can return your tickets on TIFF Year-Round Account Manager up to four hours before your screening.

To return your tickets, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to TIFF Year-Round Account Manager.
  2. Click “My Events” and select your event.
  3. Click “More” and then “Return.”
  4. Select the seat(s) you wish to return.
  5. Submit your return.

Cancellation policy: No-shows must pay a standard $9.75 ticket fee for unused tickets, which will automatically be charged to the credit card on file. For questions or late cancellations, please email customerrelations@tiff.net.

What are my Membership benefits for the Festival?

Members 365

  • An earlier package redemption time (the opportunity to choose your films) ahead of the general public
  • A pre-sale ahead of the public for single tickets (if you do not purchase ticket packages, or if you would like additional individual tickets after redeeming your package)

Contributors Circle

All the benefits as Members 365, plus:

  • An invitation to the Members’ Festival Preview, where Festival programmers share their recommended films for TIFF
  • A charitable tax receipt for the maximum allowable amount

Patrons Circle

All the same benefits as Contributors Circle Members, plus:

  • Access to choose your Festival films à la carte ahead of all Contributors Circle Members, Members 365, and the general public, with an allotted access time for individual tickets
  • Patrons Circle–exclusive events and complimentary access to select Festival screenings (one of which is family-friendly)
  • Access to the Festival Sneak Peek event (Silver+)
  • Complimentary access to the Opening Night Gala Presentation (Platinum+)
  • Complimentary access to the Closing Night Gala Presentation (Leadership+)
  • A dedicated Festival concierge to support ticketing needs (Leadership+)
  • A dedicated Patrons Circle team available to assist you throughout the Festival via email and phone
  • A charitable tax receipt for the maximum allowable amount

When is the deadline to become a Member for Festival benefits?

Sign up today to gain access to in-person ticket-package pre-sales. Sign-up deadlines for individual-ticket pre-sales will be announced closer to the Festival.

When and where can I find information about Member pre-sales and exclusives?

The TIFF Loyalty team keeps you updated about pre-sales, offers, events, and more through Membership emails, including a dedicated version of The Weekly newsletter for Members. Stay tuned for emails from TIFF Loyalty for information about your Membership exclusives.

How do I access the Bell Blue Room?

The Bell Blue Room is located on the third floor of TIFF Bell Lightbox between Cinemas 4 and 5. Members will be required to show their digital Membership card at the door in order to enter the space. As a Member, you may bring up to one guest.

Bell Blue Room Members’ Lounge hours:

Friday: 5pm-9pm

Saturday–Sunday: 12pm–8pm
