Stewardship Intern

IntroductionReporting to the Stewardship Manager, the Stewardship Intern will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of Campaign stewardship activities and events during the Toronto International Film Festival and the concurrent launch of Bell Lightbox. This internship is full-time. It is a great opportunity for a student currently enrolled in a fundraising certificate programme to gain further knowledge in these fields, put into practice skills that they have learned and earn course credit.
Responsibilities • Assist with stewardship event coordination for the opening of Bell Lightbox from planning to day-of execution • Adherence to the critical path established • Assist with managing data for all event invitees and participants • Assist with stewardship of all campaign donors • Provide administrative support for all stewardship activities • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned and actively participate as a member of the Development team

Minimum Requirements• Well developed verbal and written communication skills • Dynamic and outgoing personality with sound judgment and discretion • Professional manner and “can-do” attitude, with the ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to change • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to both work independently and in a team environment as well as the ability to take direction effectively • Understanding and commitment to superior client servicing • Well developed administrative and organizational skills • Adaptable to flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
