How do I get tickets?
- Make sure you are logged into your Member account before browsing for tickets.
- Check the get tickets link at the top right of any page and make sure it includes "(members)". If not, click on members click here and log in to your Member account in the popup that appears.
- Your username is your email address. If you do not know the email address associated with your membership, please contact the box office.
- Your password. You can click on Retrieve Your Password to have your password sent to you by email if you do not know your password.
- Your account code is the Guest Id or Membership # on the back of your Membership card.
- If (member) is visible above, click on the my account button to make sure you are logged in.
Note: Logging into your account will ensure that tiff.net gives you accurate availability for advance purchase windows and discounts. If you see an unexpected error when adding items to your cart, it may be because you have not logged in before trying to purchase tickets.
- Browse tiff.net.
- If you know the day you want to come to TIFF Bell Lightbox, start with the schedule and choose a day.
- If you know the film or event you wish to see, browse the film list or search for the film by name in the top right search box.
- Click add to cart beside the event you wish.
- The window shows all events for that day. Click on the time for the event you wish.
- Select the number and type of tickets you wish to purchase and click confirm.
- Are you done choosing tickets?
- Click continue shopping if you want to find tickets to other events
- Click checkout to make your purchase
Why is the event I want unavailable?
Most of the time, if you see “unavailable” beside an event, it means that tickets are either not yet, or no longer available for the event. There may be other causes including:
- The event has already ocurred.
- There is an error with the online ticketing service. Feel free to contact the box office by phone or in person if you wish to try to get tickets in another way.
I see get the message "An unexpected error occurred." Why?
Make sure you are logged in to your account before you try to add events to your cart. Logging in is the only way we can give you access to the advance purchase windows and discounts associated with your membership level.
