Opening in advance of the 2013 TIFF Kids International Film Festival, the hugely successful TIFF Kids digiPlaySpace is back for its second year! Take your kids on an interactive adventure where they will laugh and learn with new media technologies, interactive art installations, learning-centric games, mobile apps, and new digital tools and hands-on production activities. There's something for everyone!

The hugely successful TIFF Kids digiPlaySpace is back for its second year! This interactive adventure, open for an extended six week run, is where children will learn, laugh and engage with emerging creative media technologies, film-based activities, and innovative artistic experiences. It's an immersive adventure designed around the needs of families and educators, for children 3 to 13 years old. There's something for everyone! The open concept style of digiPlaySpace promotes hands-on activities for children to have fun and learn at their own pace and gives them a unique opportunity to interact with novel technologies from around the world. This year's "behind the scenes" theme allows children to gain a deeper understanding of how the installations work through play, art, building and creating. TIFF Kids digiPlaySpace empowers children with the skills to survive and thrive in an interactive, internet enabled and mobile media world. Families can embrace the future and embark on an adventure in digital storytelling through interactive art installations, learning centric games, mobile apps as well as new digital tools and hands-on production activities, inspiring them to continue their creativity at home and in the classroom.
