The Puppet Powered Mega-Pixilation Dream Engine is an interactive stop motion experience that takes collaborative animation to a giant scale!

The Puppet Powered Mega-Pixilation Dream Engine is an interactive stop motion experience that takes collaborative animation to a giant scale! Groups of kids ages 6 and up will have the opportunity to mix and assemble larger than life puppet parts - turning them into pose-able characters and bringing them to life in the Mega-Pixilation Dream Engine! Using the latest stop motion software kids will learn about the process of stop motion animation and digital photography in this immersive and collaborative environment.

    • Winston Hacking
    • Winston Hacking is a Toronto-based filmmaker, mixed-media artist, stop motion animator, puppeteer and music video director. His work includes collaborations with numerous Ontario musical acts (Timber Timbre, 100 Dollars, Bruce Peninsula, Ohbijou, The Acorn). He has also produced events, workshops and interactive content for TIFF Bell Lightbox and the Royal Ontario Museum, and worked as production designer on several stop motion films, including a 3D short for the National Film Board of Canada.

      Winston's work has been featured on television (AUX TV, MuchMusic, MTV Canada, Phase 3 Germany), on popular arts and culture blogs and websites (Booooooom!, VICE Deutschland, Dragonframe Stop Motion, Rolling Stone) and at local and international festivals (the Toronto International Film Festival, Pleasuredome, Slamdance). He is one of the drivers of Exploding Motor Car.
