Cinema 1

Cinema 1 is designed to host the most complex, dramatic and glamorous
in-cinema presentations, with a range of film technology which includes
3D, 30/70mm and digital. An ideal space for premieres, red carpet events
and awards presentations, this theater has a feeling of a great movie
palace updated for the modern age with state-of-the-art technology, a
bold stage, lighting grid and camera points. Due to its exceptional sound
system, Cinema 1 specializes in musically accompanied film
presentations featuring symphony orchestras, big band and rock
ensembles. It is the largest and most grandiose of the theaters.

Cinema 2
|
Cinema 2 has a similar palatial feeling and many of the same
features as Cinema 1 including the ability to screen 3D film. With a
capacity of 357 it is a great space for screening a movie, yet intimate
enough to deliver a meaningful presentation.

Cinema 3
|
Cinema 3 is the most intimate of our large-scale theatres. The
stage has been designed to fit a piano and is an excellent space
for smaller presentations with musical accompaniment. It seats
231 people and is a lavish space for events looking for a more
personal environment.

Cinema 4
|
The Paul & Leah Atkison Family Cinema 4 has comfortable seating
for 152 people and excellent sightlines. It is a theater that allows
guests to be visually and physically connected to any presentation
and is the perfect venue for an innovative lecture, conversation
series, intimate screening or awards show.

Cinema 5
|
Cinema 5 is the most flexible of the TIFF Bell Lightbox cinemas, the NBC Universal Theatre is a multi-purpose 965 sq.ft studio theatre that seats 80 people. With retractable seats it can be used as a cinema or a production space for filming and workshops.

4th Floor Meeting Room

The fourth floor meeting room can accommodate 10 people and is an ideal environment for round-table discussions and focused business activities.

Brendan Calder Boardroom

This boardroom comfortably seats up to 30 people with additional peripheral seating for up to ten and a large credenza ideal for catering service.

Allen Karp Meeting Room
|
An executive table that accommodates 14 people boardroom-style, plus additional seating for up to eight.

The Green Room
|
A quiet and intimate space to relax in before or after participating in programmes at TIFF Bell Lightbox. It is also the perfect venue for VIP cocktail receptions prior to a screening. The space includes furnishings provided by Roots, en suite washrooms, a 40 programmable screen, a 5.1 audio system, projector and drop down screen.

2nd Floor Lounge
|
With spectacular views of King Street and downtown Toronto, the 2nd Floor Lounge is a central feature of TIFF Bell Lightbox. Its elegant décor, seating areas and bar create a spectacular atmosphere for cocktail receptions and intimate events of 100 to mix and mingle with fellow cinephiles.
The 2nd Floor Lounge level is catered exclusively by Oliver & Bonacini.

Learning Studio A & B
|
The Learning Studios are multi-purpose venues that may be used individually or combined. They are perfect for teambuilding events, workshops, educational presentations and staff meetings. Each studio accommodates up to 47 people, and can be set up in various styles, including classroom, theatre, cluster conference and U-shape. The rooms features built-in projectors, screens, podium and microphones.

Bell Blue Room
|
A modern lounge with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the corner of King & John Streets. The room hosts up to 85 people and is a spectacular space for a range of social, business and academic events. The Bell Blue Room is also the TIFF Members Lounge on Thursday and Friday evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday.
